Co2 Laser Skin
Co2 Laser Skin Resurfacing
What is the CO2 Laser Resurfacing?
What should I expect during treatment?
Prior to getting treatments done at DCCM™, all patients are required to fill-out medical intake paperwork and sign consents. After everything is signed, our staff will take you to one of our private rooms where they will apply a topical anesthetic for the treated area. After 30-45 minutes, your skin should be completely numb, and our staff will gently cleanse the skin in preparation for the treatment. Tara will then assess the area of concern and will begin the treatment. The CO2 Laser resurfacing procedure should take about 20-40 minutes, depending on what area is getting treated. Post-treatment, your skin will feel and look extremely red and dry, almost like a bad sunburn. The CO2 Laser resurfacing does require downtime, lasting for about 5-7 days. Redness, dryness, flaking, or peeling is expected after treatment. It is important to follow the post-treatment guidelines that Tara will provide you with. Proper skin care following the treatment is key for healing and excellent outcomes.
How do I know if I am the right candidate for CO2 Laser Resurfacing?
We recommend CO2 Laser resurfacing for anyone with sun-damage, wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scarring, or skin texture concerns, as they will benefit greatly from this treatment. Many patients see improvement in their skin after the first treatment. This is not a recommended treatment for skin color. The reason being is that CO2 Laser resurfacing is an aggressive treatment that results in prolonged healing of the skin’s surface. Colored skin tends to heal with hyper/hypopigmentation as the color in the skin called Melanin reacts negatively with the heat from the treatment. This treatment is also not intended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Light Bright Treatment
Light & Bright Treatment in Hampton, New Hampshire
With advanced technologies, we can enhance our appearance. If you are looking for a successful treatment to help you reclaim your skin’s youthful look, texture, and tone, then the light and bright treatment offered at DCCM™ is suitable for you. The light and bright treatment restores that proper glowing skin. Youthful and glowing skin is the most requested treatment from patients worldwide. As we age, our skin changes on a variety of levels. The light and bright treatment is the first of its kind to address the various levels of aging in one treatment. During the aging process our skin becomes left smooth and unwanted pigmentation in small vessels can begin to rear their ugly little head. Overtime sun exposure will accelerate the signs of aging. The light and bright treatment will help minimize those signs of aging, improve skin texture and lessen the appearance of annoying vessels. The light and bright treatment can help rejuvenate your skin by rejuvenating the sun damage, reducing redness, lightening up age spots and freckles along with dark spots, and improving the skin’s overall tone and texture.
The light and bright treatment is a non-ablative treatment that delivers a combination of technologies designed to address surface-level irregularities and affect the dermis or what we refer to as the middle layer of the skin. The Frax 1550 technology rejuvenates the skin by delivering tiny, controlled bursts of energy only to the treated area to reduce textural irregularities. The energy delivered stimulates the dermis (the middle layer of the skin and the production of collagen. The ellipse IPL technology will refresh the skin by using a similar small, controlled burst of light that directly target blood vessels or melanin within your skin. Melanin is what causes discoloration in your skin. The IPL also reduces the coloring of age spots, freckles, redness and overall sun damage. The light and bright treatment is a combination of the fax 1550 technology along with the IPL technology. Combining treatments enhances one’s overall treatment satisfaction.
Patients can expect their healthcare provider to initiate a consult prior to treatment. The consult is where you will meet with your provider to discuss your treatment goals. It is essential that you avoid sun tanning, and even self-tanning products prior to your treatment. The light and bright treatment consist of three sessions, but this may vary according to the area being treated and your corrective goals. Your healthcare provider will review with you how many sessions you need. An anesthetic numbing cream is used to reduce discomfort during the treatment. The treatment procedure will generally take between 30 and 45 minutes, with an additional numbing time of about 30 minutes. After your treatment, your skin may benefit from applying a cold, damp cloth to your face and using Aquaphor. Your prescriber may recommend additional at-home care. Not adhering to strict protocol pre and post care can decrease the treatment outcome and increase the risk of complications. You may notice a thin layer of your skin sloughing off. Sunspots will begin darkening as some of the pigment rises to the surface. This will continue for several days following the treatment. Do not pick, scrub or peel any of the sloughing skin. Your skin will be fragile and needs to heal on its own. The skin is an incredible organ; trust in it, and trust in your provider, it just needs time to heal. If you are looking to rejuvenate and refresh your skin the light and bright treatment at DCCM™ is the way to go.

Photofacial (IPL Skin Rejuvenation)
Photofacial (IPL Skin Rejuvenation) in Hampton, NH
Photofacial treatments use advanced Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology to target pigmentation, redness, sun damage, and signs of aging at the deeper layers of the skin—without harming the surface. This non-invasive treatment works by delivering controlled pulses of light energy that break down discoloration while stimulating collagen production for clearer, smoother, and more radiant skin. Photofacials are ideal for improving uneven skin tone, brown spots, broken capillaries, acne-related redness, and overall skin texture with little to no downtime.
What is a Photofacial?
A Photofacial is a light-based skin rejuvenation treatment that uses IPL technology to correct visible skin imperfections caused by sun exposure, aging, and vascular concerns. The light energy is absorbed by pigmented and red areas in the skin, gently heating and breaking them down so the body can naturally eliminate them over time.
In addition to reducing discoloration and redness, IPL stimulates collagen production to improve skin firmness, texture, and overall tone. Photofacials can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, and other sun-exposed areas. Most patients see noticeable improvement after a series of treatments, with brighter, clearer skin that continues to improve over time.
What should I expect during treatment?
During the treatment, pulses of light are delivered to the skin, creating a quick snapping sensation—often compared to a rubber band snap. Treatment typically lasts 20–30 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Afterward, the skin may appear slightly red or warm, similar to a mild sunburn, which usually subsides within a few hours. Dark spots may temporarily darken before naturally flaking off over the next several days. There is little to no downtime, and most patients return to normal activities immediately. Following post-care instructions and sun protection is essential for optimal results.
How do I know if I am the right candidate for a Photofacial?
Photofacials are ideal for individuals looking to improve:
- Sun damage and brown spots
- Redness, rosacea, and broken capillaries
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Fine lines and early signs of aging
- Dull or tired-looking skin
This treatment works best on lighter skin tones, as IPL targets pigment in the skin. Those with very dark skin, active infections, or certain medical conditions may not be ideal candidates. A consultation at DCCM™ will help determine if Photofacial treatments are right for your skin goals.

We provide laser scar removal with the Matrix Pro Sublative® device.
What Is Laser Scar Removal?
Laser scar removal allows the skin and beauty experts at Delle Chiaie Cosmetic Medicine to reduce scars and other facial imperfections without the use of surgery. We use the Matrix Pro Sublative® device, which is safe and effective on all skin types!
What Is Matrix Pro Sublative® Rejuvenation?
Sublative Rejuvenation is a non-laser and non-light-based treatment. Instead, the use of bipolar radiofrequency is employed to rejuvenate the skin, typically in 3-6 treatment visits.
How Does Laser Scar Removal Work?
Sublative® Rejuvenation penetrates the skin in order to boost collagen production. The preservation of the skin’s top layer is why the downtime is so minimal if any at all.

This is a collagen-boosting treatment, therefore, results are long-lasting. Like most aesthetic procedures, some maintenance treatments may be necessary after a year to enhance and maintain results.
Sublative® Rejuvenation recovery is typically a day or two. You can apply makeup the next day.
